Using the knee wedge in the supine position reduces the pressure and pain in the lower back. Used together with the ring cushion (P-SS-13) helps to put the user in the Semi-Fowler’s position, wherethe pelvis and lower back are at 30°. The knee wedge improves blood circulation and reduces the risk of the lower limbs swelling. Also, it prevents the knee hyperextension.
